Supporting the Local Community
Hammonds of Knutsford is dedicated to encouraging growth and development within our local community. The saying goes “Charity Begins at Home” and we recognise this by supporting the community in which the company began over 50 years ago.
If you are local to the Knutsford area and know of a community project that we could help with, then please Contact Us. We would love to be able to help everyone, but unfortunately there isn’t enough of us! But please don’t let this stop you getting in touch with us because where we can, we will help!
Great Warford Parish Council - Jubilee Picnic
Great Warford Parish Council will host a Jubilee Picnic in honour of the Queen's Jubilee celebrations. We have donated wine to this event and wish them the best for the event (and no rain!)
Manchester Children's Hospital and Sodje Sports Foundation
The Sodje Sports Foundation Charity Dinner was organised by Bury footballer Efe Sodje and his brothers and sisters. The evening was in support of the Sodje Sports Foundation, which sends football equipment back to impoverished regions of Africa. Within the proceeds, a large donation was also made to the Manchester Children's Hospital.
Hammonds of Knutsford sponsored the event by providing the wine for the evening. We were delighted to be given the opportunity to support such worthy charities.
East Cheshire Hospice
We went along to support an auction that was raising money for the East Cheshire Hospice. In total, the evening raised £20,000. Hammonds donated a beautifully presented magnum of champagne, which raised £425 in the auction.
