Chairman

Tony founded the business in 1960 and has overseen the many strategic business decisions that have directed Hammonds of Knutsford to its leading market position today. Tony’s influential leadership skills and strong work ethics have been the driving success of the business. Throughout Tony’s career he has always been ‘happy to help’ and strived to be ‘second to none’.
A bit about me....
I have been married to Jean for over 40 years and have two children, Jonathan and Charlotte. My other loyal companion is Rosie, my German Shepherd, who is never far from my side. I have many interests, which include fast performance sports cars and have been fortunate to own many different types over the years, including Ferraris, Porsches and Bentleys etc.. I am also a very keen collector of many things and have still got my stamp collection from when I was a young boy.




Rosie Hammond - Head of Security

Rosie is a German Shepherd dog who patrols the grounds and offices at Hammonds of Knutsford both day and night. She likes lots of attention from her master and friends and is particularly partial to ginger nut biscuits although she is only allowed them as treats!
